Caring Hearts (Mexico)
Caring Hearts is a ministry of Christian outreach and care to the people of San Luis, Mexico. Their primary purpose is to support Bethel orphanage. Caring Hearts pays for the staff, food and facilities as no government funds are available. The Good Samaritan Feeding Center supports children in one of the poorest areas in San Luis. The Oasis Boys Home is a vocational training group home for adolescent boys. Many people from our congregation have participated in mission trips to San Luis.

Laura and Edgar Cojon (Guatemala)
Laura is a teacher at the Christian Academy of Guatemala. Edgar is an assistant pastor at Santuario Familiar, a church in Cuidad Quetzel. They are administrators and house parents for a new orphanage.

Lifesong (India)
Robert F. Stole when he realized the many needs of India’s children. Bob and his wife have made many trips to India and have shared letters and pictures of their work there. Their work has grown to six orphanages and the building of six churches. They joined Lifesong in 2009. Lifesong meets the needs of destitute Indian children in a Christian atmosphere by
•Giving total care including housing and three healthy meals a day
•Making schooling available at public schools and colleges
•Training in English, computer skill training, and technical skills
•Providing daily Bible classes

Stacey and Matt Ayars (Haiti)
Matt and Stacey are doing mission work in Cap Haitien, Haiti. Matt is the president of Emmaus Bible College and teaches future Haitian church leaders. Stacey teaches English and does marketing for the college. Visit their blog for daily updates for “Life in Haiti”.

Autumn Marshall (Haiti)
Autumn works as a therapy coordinator at Miriam Center in Northwest Haiti. She provides therapy for children with mental and physical disabilities. Autumn also trains Haitian workers. She also works with parents in the For Jonathan’s Sake program so they can help their children at home. We are proud to say that Autumn is a member of New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Fintonia (Sierra Leone, Africa)
EPC is in the process of church planting in the most unreached areas of the Muslim world. Our New Bedford Church helps the Presbytery of the Alleghenies with the outreach that will provide educational opportunities in Sierra Leone. Ten children have been sponsored from our church members. Sponsorship will provide for schooling and supplies.
